Assignments:
Assignments are to be completed in blue or black ink, pencil, or word processed.
Be sure to write your name, date, title, and block.
Assignments are to be handed in at the beginning of class (unless otherwise indicated).
Please do not attempt to hand in an assignment after the beginning of class as it indicates that you haven’t been following the topic of the current class.
Assignments handed in late lose 10% per day, up to a maximum of 50%. If your work is handed in after the end of term mark deadline you will receive a zero for that assignment.
Assignment deadlines are flexible. If you need an extension please talk to me before the assignment is due.
Students absent for tests or homework will be expected to make up the work on their own time. Remember, a legitimate absence excuses you from the class but not the work. A student who misses a test or an assignment as a result of an unexcused absence will receive a zero for that test or assignment.
It is your responsibility to see me about missed work and assignments.
All assignments are individual assignments unless otherwise noted. You learn best by doing work on your own. Copying of others work (plagiarism) is not allowed and will result in a zero. Further disciplinary action may also be taken.
It is my hope that each one of you has a successful semester. If you encounter any difficulties or have any questions concerning this course, please see me so that I can help you.
